Banner Sponsorship
Each year, the Covington Veterans Foundation and the City of Andalusia line downtown streets with banners honoring local veterans during a two-week period around Veterans Day.
The program began in 2019, and by 2022, over 500 banners paid tribute to veterans who have served our country. Now, in 2026, the number is approaching 700.
These banners were sponsored by veterans’ family members and friends, and are displayed each year around Veterans Day after they are purchased. We hope you will consider sponsoring your veteran this year.

You will need to provide us with a high-quality image of your veteran, preferably in uniform. We will scan the image for you and provide you with a digital copy upon requestd.
Your veteran's service can be memorialized through tribute banners displayed in downtown Andalusia in November of each year.
We work to document and preserve the service and history of local veterans. We hope you'll share your veteran's history with us.
A future plan is to partner with local schools to educate our students in citizenship and the research of local veterans.
We pay tribute to our veteran's through high-quality historical exhibits and entertaining musical shows in November.
